Bloomingbit Community Introduction and Operating Policy

The Bloomingbit Community (including News) is a space where users can freely share opinions and information.

This freedom is guaranteed when users respect the rights of others and pursue sound discussions based on facts.

Spreading false information, personal attacks, discriminatory remarks, and spam are strictly prohibited. The Operations Team aims to prevent such actions and maintain a safe environment.

1. Membership Policy and Community Use

1.1 Membership Registration

- Membership registration is available through social login and World ID.

- Social login is available through Kakao, Apple, and Google.

1.2 Changing Member Information

- User IDs can be changed once every 30 days. Duplicate user IDs cannot be used.

- User IDs that are inappropriate or impersonate a specific company or brand may be modified at the request of the Operations Team.

- The country setting can be selected at the time of initial registration and can be changed once thereafter.

1.3 Community Overview

- After completing registration, users can communicate by posting articles, comments, or replies in the community or through comments and replies on news articles.

- Communication within the community includes writing posts, comments, and replies, liking posts, and quoting posts. All activities not violating [2. Community Restrictions] are allowed.

1.4 Comment and Reply Policy

- Comments and replies are an important means of communication directly connected to Bloomingbit News articles.

- Spreading false information, using profanity, discriminatory expressions, or spamming may result in restrictions. Sound discussion and mutual respect are the principles.

2. Community Restrictions

Bloomingbit respects freedom of expression, but the following actions are prohibited to promote a healthy discussion culture.

2.1 Abusive Language and Personal Attacks

Using violent, threatening, insulting, or hostile language toward individuals or groups that may cause harm is not allowed.

- Defaming or shifting responsibility for other users' transactions within the service.

- Repeatedly and excessively defaming a specific party.

- Showing contempt for human life, or glorifying or promoting violence, crime, or delinquent acts.

- Using strong profanity, slang, or vulgar language that causes discomfort to users.

- Posting information, text, or images that deny, ridicule, or violate public morals, ethics, or social order.

2.2 Obscene or Sexually Explicit Content

Providing or implying obscene or sexually suggestive materials is prohibited.

- Posting obscene or explicit content that causes sexual shame or disgust.

- Promoting, distributing, or linking to low-quality or obscene materials or websites containing such content.

2.3 Defamation and Copyright Infringement

Acts that infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others are prohibited.

- Registering, posting, or distributing unauthorized commercial programs.

- Distributing or selling illegally copied software, games, music, or videos.

- Defaming or unfairly invading the privacy of a specific person or organization.

- Impersonating Bloomingbit, affiliates, the Operations Team, or influencers active within the service, or stealing influencer content.

- Discriminating or making derogatory remarks based on gender, race, sexual identity, religion, age, disability, or region.

2.4 For-Profit or Promotional Activities

Activities for profit or promotion not authorized by Bloomingbit are not allowed.

- Direct or indirect advertising or other promotional activities related to other services, sites, or communities.

2.5 Protection of Personal Information

Disclosure of personal or sensitive information without consent is prohibited.

- Inducing the provision or exposure of personal information, or directly exposing it (e.g., search terms, KakaoTalk ID, SNS information, email, phone number, etc.).

- Posting all or part of private emails or chat messages, or exposing private communications without permission.

- Posting or sharing private photos or videos of others produced or distributed without consent.

2.6 Platform Manipulation and Spam

Acts that manipulate or interfere with user experience are prohibited.

- Posts or comments written for spam or flooding purposes.

- Distributing viruses or exploiting bugs or the system.

2.7 Fraud and False Information

Acts of exaggerating information or misleading others through false information are not allowed.

- Spreading false information intended to incite users.

- Acts committed for the purpose of fraud or other crimes.

- Account trading, cash transactions, or implying such actions.

2.8 Respect for Diversity and Prohibition of Discrimination

We respect diversity and aim to create a healthy communication environment without discrimination or hate speech. The following acts are not permitted.

- Causing conflict or confrontation through sensitive topics such as politics, religion, or ideology.

- Making discriminatory or prejudiced remarks about gender, age, region, nationality, race, sexual orientation, disability, occupation, or religion.

- Defaming or inciting hatred toward a specific group.

- Making derogatory remarks against socially vulnerable or minority groups.

2.9 Basic Ethics and Legal Compliance

All users must comply with basic social ethics and laws. The following acts are strictly prohibited.

- Posting content harmful to minors or violating laws.

- Using violent, explicit, or hateful expressions or encouraging crime.

- Producing or distributing content prohibited by law, such as drugs, pornography, or illegal recordings.

- Violating intellectual property rights such as copyright or trademark infringement.

- Any act that violates current laws or infringes on the rights of others.

3. Sanction Standards and Types

Bloomingbit may take the following measures depending on the seriousness, intent, and recurrence of violations listed in the Community Restrictions.

[Level 1] Deletion of posts, comments, or replies. Content violating operating principles may be modified or deleted.

[Level 2] Activity restriction. Users who violate operating principles may be restricted from activities (posting, commenting, replying) for 3–7 days.

[Level 3] Account termination. Membership may be terminated in the case of serious violations.

4. Notes on Community Sanctions

Bloomingbit may take action when any activity that violates relevant laws, the Terms of Service, or this Policy is discovered, even without a user report.

Disputes arising within the community are, in principle, the responsibility of the parties involved. Bloomingbit generally does not intervene or take action for damages. However, the Operations Team may intervene if a dispute becomes excessive.

Sanctioned users may file an objection through the official channel: help@bloomingbit.io.

If the Operations Team determines that the objection is reasonable after review, the sanction may be lifted.
